Come and Try Day
The Wetspot is holding it’s biggest ever Come and Try Windsurfing Day, Sunday, November the 21st. This will be huge so get your friends to come along and have a go for free. There will be demo gear to try if you are already a sailor, free lessons for adults and kids.It would be worth booking as we will be crazy.
Wetspot sailor Alex Halenk wins 3 World Titles
Competeing in the under 11 division, the 9 year old Canberra local has just secured three World Titles (Slalom, Freestyle and Flow Style) at the Juniour Wolds in Bonaire. Congrats to Alex and his family who have put in the hard yards over the past two years. We should be able to learn a few things when Alex returns to sail Lake Burley Gerkin this Summer.
New Season’s Gear
The new season’s gear has just been released. I can not upload images just yet, but drop in and I can show you some “secret squirrell” info.
There have been some big changes in the wholesale structure of our importers and it will be a lot harder to access stock this year. If you are thinking of getting a new board or sail this year drop in and see Scotty asap, as it will take two to three months to get special orders into the country and that could see you missing the best part of the season.
