Paddle News
Coming up in the next few months are some of the countries most respected paddle races.
The Avon Descent is held just outside Perth, and consists of some great stretches of white water with some grinding flat water thrown in. There will be a few local Wetspot paddlers attending this year. We wish Tom, Darryl and Nobby all the best.
The Hawkesburry Classic, 111km over night, hopefully with a full moon this year, will be a great first time for Wetspot staff member James Suthern. Our other intrepid staff member, Patricia Ashton, is looking to knock out a good time, after spending the next few weeks paddling in the Northern Territory.
It appears there is a fairly large local crew heading up this year, so we will see you on the water over the next few months getting in a few km’s before work. If you are looking for training partners, give us a call and hook up for a session.
Keep an eye out for our 24 Hour Relay and massive Demo Day both coming up in November. Also our new range of Tahe sea kayaks are due early September and they are flash.
