Family Kayaks
This is the most popular range we have. Mostly sit-on-tops they offer ease of use, safety and fun for paddlers of all generations.
Dad can fit a couple of kids in the front and head off while leaving Mum in peace. Include a fishing rod or maybe chase a few small waves, the versatility of these kayaks will keep all paddlers actively entertained.
Quite popular wth couples are our stacking singles that allow you to transport one on top of the other in safety, saving the need for special roof carrier systems. These sit – ons are nice to paddle around rivers and estuaries but also a heap of fun in the surf.

Touring/Sea Kayaking
Whether it be a two hour cruise along a river with a packed lunch or multi day trips, these boats cover greater distances with less effort, letting you drift away from day to day life quite easily. We stock touring kayaks that have a many different specialties from light weight cruisers, to load carrying multi-day work horses. With a large range in store you can ‘try them on’ to get the right fit ensuring comfort on the water. We also have a few models in hire / demo that will give you a chance to see how they feel on the water.

Fitness/Racing
Get the heart rate up and work your core till it hurts, without the impact of land based sports. Kayaking is great for those with knee or back injuries as there is minimal impact on the body.
Challenge yourself or others, maybe take on the big ones like the 111km Hawkesbury Classic or the 404km Murray Marathon. They sound daunting but you can do it! We not only help you with the boat and paddle, but can also provide the technique and training tips to make big progress quickly.
These boats will make it a joy to go paddling and you won’t even realise you are exercising!

Whitewater
Hurl yourself down rapids, over the odd waterfall or try the tricky freestyle moves. Paddling whitewater can be technically a great challenge with adrenaline as the reward. Designs vary to give you more control in different water states. Go for a creeker of you want to paddle big water over longer distance, a play boat for the freestylers out there or a river runner to split the two down the middle.

PFD’s
Often overlooked is the humble PFD. Like the cousin nobody talks about, you don’t have a choice, you just have to have one. Regulations are undergoing change so it is looking more and more like there will be no choice but to wear a PFD at all times. We stongly advise the use of jackets especially when the water is cooler, you are paddling alone or heaading any further off shore (including lakes), than you can comfortably swim, and that for most of us is only about 50 metres.
